Ministries / Music Ministry

The music program at Sharp focuses on providing a ministry to glorify God and aid in drawing people closer to a meaningful worship experience.

We also have opportunities to perform other types of programs that show the love and joy that comes in a relationship with God and fellowship with each other.

No matter what your age or level of ability, a place exists for you in our music ministry.

We at Sharp are dedicated to using our music as a way to show God’s love in our lives.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM and on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. The Chancel Choir serves as the Worship Choir for the 8:30 and 11:00 AM services.

Ensembles

We have a number of music ensembles at Sharp, including the Sharp Sisters and the Sharp Tones. These groups, as well as other ensembles, provide special music for worship services, and other events at the church. The Sharp Tones perform regularly at our Wonderful Wednesday dinners. Anyone interested in joining our Chancel Choir or participating in our ensembles should contact Pam Leslie, our Director of Music.

Special Music

Individuals regularly offer vocal and instrumental music during church services.

Chimers

Chimers practice weekly to participate in worship on a regular basis. Jackie Volk is our chime leader. Chimers have also joined Sharp Tones in the last couple years to play at the UMM Christmas Dinner and a Wonderful Wednesday production.
